As the Festive season hoves into view, I'm sure that
many of you are asking the same question – How can we do Christmas better and
cheaper this year?
So here at Steptoes Dog we’ve thought long and hard and come
up with our favourite way to make your celebrations go with a fizz, without
blowing the budget.
So here are our top 5:
1.
Make some or all of your gifts. A home-made gift
is a really lovely thing to receive, and there’s still plenty of time to make them.

2.
Christmas decorations can cost quite a bit, so
we’ve got together some of our favourite ideas for home-made Christmas decorations that will add lots of festive cheer to your home without breaking
the bank....
3.
If you’re having family or friends over, ask
them each to bring one thing, such as a bottle of wine, or some cheese.
4.
Make your own... Almost everything that we
consume at Christmas is cheaper if you make it yourself. Prepare and cook your
own food, as much as you can, avoid pre-prepared food, it is more expensive.
Look online for good recipes and follow them, so you don’t make costly
mistakes. Christmas cake and pudding will need doing soon. Home-made Christmas
Crackers are much nicer than shop bought ones.
5.
